Not so. They not only hate me, but they fear me and spend great amounts of time wondering about all the horrible things I could do, to the point where I am almost a mythological figure endowed with supernatural power to inflict wanton and random cruelties against them. They see me behind every bush and under every bed and suspect everyone else of being me, degrading their trust in one another and breaking down their society. All by the mere act of continuing to breath.
