I had to call in sick today and i'm already bored as fuck. This is just asking to get depressed.

I'm asolo game designer, so I like to spend all my time doing that. Just tweaking things, experimenting, stuff like that. I am a depressed shit, though, so I guess you're right on that one, OP.

By switching things up. I usually play music most of the day and just browse as background action. Or i'll go for a long walk, or bike ride, or skateboard, whatever. Or go eat a meal. Or jerk off. Or take a shit. Or a shower. It's easy if you keep changing it up, and you can really make any of those actions last a longer time when you're not in a rush.
I haven't done anything in close to 8 months.
I have no motivation and everything is completely boring to me. I wake up, get on the computer, and do nothing till I'm tired, then I try to go to sleep for a few hours. I think this is the deepest I've ever been into my depression. I don't know what to do... I've tried exercising, eating a healthy diet, medication, meditation, forcing myself to socialize, following a sleeping pattern, etc.
Last year I was inches away from ODing and wound up a few times to the psych ward. I can't much more of this daily unending mundane meaningless existence. I'm beyond asking for help, I only wish you are not fated as I have been.

The neet life style is a slow death of comfortable boredom. If my family could support me (or Australia gave half decent neetbux) forever I'd still be a neet and loving it. I've never been happy but those were definitely my most comfortable years. Any dignified and half rational human being knows that working in this modern world is for slaves.

Because of all the support and the kind words those folks gave me, I just felt like doing something good.
I decided to go to the gym because of another friend I made here on 4chan. He is in a similar situation, but he seems like such a nice guy, you know? The kind of person you'd like to hang out with.
I want to meet him, and he wants to meet me. We live in different continents, so that's probably not going to happen, but there's a chance. And that chance is enough for me.
