Was just looking at some old photos of me in middle school and my face looks near identical to today. I'm currently freshman at uni.

I know this board is generally unreceptive to advice, and this thread isn't an advice thread at all, but the sounding young thing is fixable. I used to have this weak, high pitched, mousey voice that sounded like a little girls and I hated it so much, but it can be changed. Vocal chords are muscles, and like all muscles they can be exercised. One of the core tenants of singing is to learn to push your voice through your diaphragm instead of just having it come through your throat, and you can learn to do this an apply it to your speaking. When you hear people with really strong voices that carry a long way, they're speaking through their diaphragm. It comes naturally to some people, but if you're like me and it doesn't, it's a skill you can learn. You can't help your baby face but you can train yourself to have a powerful voice if you're willing

It took me almost a full year of learning to sing to get the hang of, and I still have trouble with it, but its possible. I even have recordings of me speaking before I started and compare them now and can see a huge difference and it encourages me.

That sucks m8. I'm fortunate enough to have a garage to go in where I practice singing and speaking. Cars work really well too though if you have one. Just practice every time you drive.
