I'd forever love a little Stubbs to cuddle and play with.
I feel sad about getting a pet because since I work so much I'd never have enough time to dedicate towards the little lovely and then I'd get far too sad thinking that I was being neglectful. I don't want to be that type of person.

Cats are pretty sedentary. My cats sleep 90% of the daytime even if I'm home. You could always get a pair so they have a buddy to expend energy with

That's true. I'd still feel bad for not being around more often. The cats I grew up with could never get enough attention, and one climbed up my leg to wrap herself around me and lay on my shoulders whenever I came home.
Plus I'm the type who'd get legitimate heartache if either of them got sick at all.
