All it takes is one senator getting a wild hair to start a war. The president could send ten thousand troops wherever he wants on a whim, and the rest would back them up with reinforcemens if he sent them to a shitty area. I think we need more libertarians in U.S. Politics. I don't like what a libertarian's utopia would look like, because it's basically anarchy, but I do think the government needs to take a dramatic step back.
