I can afford to live with my roommate, we each pay 300 of the rent, which is a bit less than 25% of what I make in a month, about a week's pay. The rest of it is stuff we pool together, and I have loads saved every month since I mostly just stay indoors and shitpost.

Trump and Sanders would both be economic disasters. Trump has his tariffs, foreign intervention, and ideas about debt defaults. Bernie with his welfare statism, minimum wage increases, and government "job" growth.

Vote Libertarian.
>>
>>28457815
Where you live effects a lot. I moved to the Oregon coast and about had a panic attack when I discovered most places only paid $7~$9 an hour till I discovered rent runs about $650 counting utilities. You could go as low as $300 for those flat like apartments. Also no sales tax however taxes returns are very weak. It is much easier to live here then say north WV where I was getting paid $14 an hour and was struggling to pay my 750 rent without utilities counted.

Trump isn't anything, he changes position to match whoever he's trying to win over. He recently came out in favor of an increased minimum wage because he's pretty sure he's got the primary in the bag and he wants that Sanders audience because Hillary is shitting all over it and he thinks he can snag 'em. This is in total contrast to his flat statements during debates that he would never support a minimum wage increase.

What he'll actually do as president, nobody knows. The only best guess is that he'll continue to play to his rational self-interest as a plutocrat, which will probably involve no minimum wage increase and will also involve no reversal of outsourcing; outsourcing exists because it's good for the capitalist class.

Bernie's economic policies would be the best for America because higher wages for lower-class people increases consumption. Rich people don't spend their money, they let it rot in their (offshore) bank account; how money supports a good economy is by being spent.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-mw0mb-yYA

Therefore, redistributing wealth from those stagnant rich to the energetic poor is a powerful method of stimulating the economy.

Bernie's plans for nationalized healthcare would also reduce medical debt among Americans, again improving spending, and stronger welfare in general gives people more control and choice in their lives; this is important because obviously choice is an important component of the self-regulation of a free market. He would also decentralize the biggest financial masses in the market, which currently have so much control that they can collapse the entire global system by themselves and only have to make a few dumb decisions to do it. Furthermore, these same people were informed by Obama's bailout that even if they fail catastrophically nothing bad will happen to them, so they have no incentive to be cautious, making them extra dangerous. Splitting these groups up and diversifying the market will make it more resistant to collapse.

Bernie is the only person in the race who's serious about this kind of stuff, Trump's positions change with the breeze and Hillary is as corrupt as the rest of the politicians on Capitol Hill. They just want to keep doing the same stuff we've been doing for the past few decades because that's what made them rich. Bernie thinks change is needed, and I agree. Rich people aren't gods, they're just people, and are just as prone to self-destructive practices as anyone else. In the short term they make out really great under a system like ours, but in the long term severe wealth inequality, weak infrastructure and lack of opportunity will lead to unrest, instability and collapse.

It does. If Gary Johnson was smart he would of ran as a republican, instead of losing every-time running as an independent and mostly because of that no one cared about him. I did a six month internship with the government got like $850 a week it was awesome. I didn't do anything and the supervisor would let us leave early but clock us out at our normal time, all paid for by you. I saw so much corruption and mismanagement I thought only happened in movies.
>>
>>28460320
shit dude i did this for 2 years (government internship, commute was about 1-1.5 hours each way) when i was in my early 20s

i'm a lot more frugal with money (making less now) and have pretty much decided i'd rather be poor w/ more free time than wagecucked into oblivion

also pretty sure i don't want to have kids as it would likely necessitate that wagecuck lifestyle

feels bad man

At 40 hours a week, hell yeah it is. That only leaves me ~8 hours a weekday, and that isn't even including waking up, commuting, cooking/eating, etc. so it's more like only 4-5 hours of free time.

The worst part, is if you have your free time after work, it can often be worth nothing because you're so wiped out from the day you can't be arsed to do anything

That said, 15-20 hours a week is GOAT. Ya get spending money, get to get out of the house regularly, don't get fatigued from long days, maybe get a bit of exercise if blue collar. Wagecuck hours make me feel like I'm drowning

Wageslave with good job here. It can get better, once you have aome experience and can move up. Upward mobility is crucial in determining weather to stay at a job.. let your superior know you are interested in advancement.. if not possible then apply elsewhere. You've never studied economics, have you? Read Economics in One Lesson by Henry Hazlitt. He succinctly explains why you're wrong.

>>28458897
>Bernie's economic policies are good because it gives lower classes money to spend that would otherwise not be spent
You fell for the ol' "slow economy = bad economy" meme, huh? When the government intervenes in the economy, it never has lasting benefits. The liquid and dynamic beast that is the market will find it's true equilibrium, and when the government forces it one way, it will eventually violently go the exact opposite way. Read Economics in One Lesson by Henry Hazlitt. He succinctly explains why you're wrong.
>>
>>28465780
It amazes me how quick otherwise moral and upstanding citizens are to vote for the government to steal other people's money just because they're doing well financially. It is nobody else's responsibility to provide for you. Don't use the force of government to steal - it's simply morally wrong.

Do you ever try to convince yourself to like your job? Sometimes the night before work, I tell myself that I'll just make myself passionate about what I do, that I'll make myself love it and have fun. Then I'm excited and in a good mood until I actually get to work, and I realize I just can't delude myself like that.

I honestly believe most wagecuck normies feel immensely proud about their menial brain dead jobs. Like if they're wiping a counter they'll think,"Jesus fuck just look how clean this counter is you could perform surgery on this shit" or if they're flipping a burger "Imma cook this burger to absolute perfection and the motherfucker who eats this will say this it's the best fucking burger he has ever eaten". When you see how enthusiastic some of these fucking drones are doing these repetitive tasks for hours on end like it's the greatest thing on Earth it really makes you think what the fuck is going on inside their heads.

You'll be indirectly punished for doing this. Everyone at work will gradually be more and more mean and spiteful to you. The less desirable work will always find its way into your lap. If you want more hours, you'll be given far less, and if you want less hours, you'll be given far more.

While you aren't breaking any rules, they'll eventually find something over which to terminate you. Your employment is "at will", so they don't actually need a reason.
