As long as you know your role and have no crippling delusions, what exactly is wrong with being a beta orbiter?

One of my friends recently rejected me and it seems as if my only two options are cut her off or happily orbit and the latter seems far superior since nothing has happened to make her less amazing of a person.

I don't think you're exactly an orbiter if you both know your relation ship is platonic and can just be mutual friends.

I thought that to be an orbiter, you have to be unsure of whether the girl would reject you or not, and you just hang around her and do things for her cuz u have a crush on her and she just endlessly leads you on.
