Betterment sounds like a scam

Its the exact same model as any other brokerage, just more affordable and online.
I use the loyal 3 app for right now, once I have over 10,000 I will transfer to a etrade, been putting 500 into my account every month for the last 4 months. I have made about 60 dollars. Not going to be rich, but I do plan on retiring in 30 years and if I keep this up I will be able to do so.
Been mostly investing in stocks with high dividends. If it doesn't have at least a 2.74 divined return I am not touching it.

I should also mention that I use RobinHood app for my casual 'playing around' stock trading.

Anon, you aren't going to get rich by investing your own money. If you think you can delve into the autism, Martin Shkreli has a video series on youtube you can watch on finance and investing 101.

I'd discard that idea if I were you, anon.
The stocks are nothing but a poor man's fever dream

It's pretty dull and you can make a decent profit if you know what you're doing. I'd recommend discussing this with a financial advisor or with someone that has experience with it.

Yep, you are not going to get "rich" unless you do consistent investing and aim for a 6 or 7% growth.

Not true. I heard about this one guy in Japan who started out with $400 in stocks and was worth over $100 M in 18 months.
I figure I don't need that much but like one or two million would be enough so I'm going to start smart and let it ride for a few months, then start churning and burning until I fill my bank account.
It's a no-brainer, you just need some inside info to get started.
