except life extension is within reach, so you're wrong
>>
>>28447866
Life extension is going to prevent deteriorating cells and prevent the thousands of mutations that can kill you?

I'm legitimately asking, I don't follow life extension beyond cryonics.

Our galaxy is boring. I want to travel outside of ours.

literally the only place you've been to is the earth

Thank god, I dislike that metal and technology vibe.

Only the cities would be like that. You could be a ruralfag still.
>>
what are you talking about: we are already living in the cyberfunk future of your faggy cartoons.

except it has less LEDs, the oppressive governments are popular (even with the anarchists) and your shitty programming skills can't allow you to do anything remarkable.

we are in the cyberfunk dystopia and it feels like a fatty paunch and tastes of semen and saccharin.

I feel sad when I live in a world filled with valleys, forests and rivers but I can't enjoy it because it's someone's owned land.

The old ways are not the only ways. We study the mysteries of laser and circuit, crystal and scanner. Holographic daemons and invocations of equations. These are the tools we employ, and we know many things

I suggest you look into psychological projection

I feel sad thinking about my future in general
>>
>>28447906

all I know for sure is, human-level AI will be here within the next 15 years.

in my mind, it follows on from that that we'll be seeing some form of life extension shortly after

You're living in the period closest to the cyberpunk fantasy.

Earth can't sustain the CURRENT industrial society. Hence, the future will be one of lower populations, lower energy consumption and lower tech.

I am sad that I wont get to live off the land in a small local community.
>>
>>28447651
So so sad

>that small glimmer of hope in believing that cybernetics will advance in your lifetime, and so you may live on as a cyborg

Really though, cyberpunk is my greatest fantasy. Truly humanity will enter a golden age when this era dawns on us.

I get sad when I realize we're getting the dystopia, but not the aesthetics.

It's so bad that >>28448870 actually gives me HOPE because the idea of a privacy-less society horrifies me so much. I love technology, without the Internet my life would be even worse - but it's heading in a nightmarish direction and can't be turned around by conscious intervention, the market forces in favour of killing privacy are too strong.

So we return to the only thing that can stop the market: Supply and demand, namely, a massive reduction in the supply of electricity strangling the computers of the data-miners to death.

>Too many people will accept the subversion of privacy
humanity deserves to die out
