Annon how good are you at the prerequisites? Basic arithmetic, algebra 1, etc?
If you are still shit at them, stop, shore up on them then come back. And above all take it slow don't rush.
While most everyone will hit various 'walls' while learning math there ain't that much you can do about it, other than keep headbutting that wall until it cracks. For you it might be LinAL for some other dude it will be geometry, for another it will be topology, etc etc.
And don't think there is only one wall ahead hehehe.
