It was Akame ga Kill.
It's a manga with art that isn't too bad and the first half of the first episode had comedy and was upbeat, so I thought I was safe from retardation.
But then it just turned into edgy xd random death scenes, complete with Jojo's Bizarre Adventure references. I already knew the author was a retard before today too.

Does anyone know the title of a shitty anime, its really weird, I don't remember exactly what it was about other than there was a panda in it and this weitd transition scene they always did with like bright lights, a fast trippy dance music song and some colours and shit like that. I only got one episode in and that is honest all I can remember about it

Actually the constantly flowing death scenes were the best part.
Often you kinda forget that characters sometimes never die in fighting manga, because that would piss off everyone. The audience, the publishers, and so on. Like for example few characters permanently die in Dragonball and shit. They always come back somehow.
What made Akama ga Kill shit was just the bad pacing later. But it was nice to see most of the main characters staying dead and not being brought back to life through plot magic.

It sounds like maybe a bit like Yuri Kuma Arashi, but it had bears in it.
Polar Bear Cafe has bears too but I haven't seen it. Can't think of any anime with pandas in it.
