How achievable is the idea of living in complete isolation from society? I'm not talking about sitting in your room all day. What I mean is complete and total isolation from everything human forever - people, fucking social media, any kind of interaction with other humans.

Virtually null. Probably go to a third world country then hide somewhere.
You'll either get found by some tribe or terrorist group, die of a disease of predator, or realize how stupid your request is but you'll have no way to leave and find you way to civilization.

Is largely incorrect. If you've got a really good amount of starting money, it's completely possible to get some acres of land out in bumfuck nowhere (midwest us, most of canada, etc) and just farm and hunt. You'd probably have to go to a shop every few months for specific supplies, but otherwise you'd be on your own permanently.

If you want to while still living in the first world you'd still have to maintain minimal contact with the outside world.
You would need a ton of money and you'd have to make it without attracting fame.

All these other anons are stupid. If you really want to give up on society all you need ti do is learn about plants and animals and learn how to make a shelter abd a comfy bed. Spend 200$ bucks on a nice woodburning stove then go out into the woods of your choice and live off the land.

Until you get sick and die.

>going to live on land that isn't yours
>going to live in a shack made out of sticks and leaves
>going to somehow live off the land all day starting from scratch
>rubbing wet sticks together to ignite your fire because you didn't bring matches or kerosene or a shitty cigarette lighter or literally anything other than some shitty stove

>>going to live on land that isn't yours
mountain men usually don't get evicted
>>going to live in a shack made out of sticks and leaves
the house can be as good as your craftsmanship
>>going to somehow live off the land all day starting from scratch
you can live in town while you get your new life in order
>>rubbing wet sticks together to ignite your fire because you didn't bring matches or kerosene or a shitty cigarette lighter or literally anything other than some shitty stove
so bring those things

there are people right now living in the american wilderness and surviving off the land
