I mean, surely the appeal of Nathan Drake if you play Uncharted as a chick is that he's a man's man. He's meant to be like a contemporary Indiana Jones. Would that same chick playing Uncharted want to "beat up" or see 100lbs female characters "beat up" Nathan Drake? It seems to undermine him a little.

Not him, but there are always certain rules that must be followed. If there is a slow motion gunfight and a full bullet casing comes out of a gun barrel, that's stupid and ruins the immersion. If someone shoots the pulley cord of an elevator and causes it to freefall, that's stupid and ruins the immersion.
