I'm inclined to agree, I personally only watched it for like a month before it changed to g4 and now that I watch old episodes of shows I liked it's clear that they were pretty shitty. Not that bad but just really boring compared to other stuff these days.
The only show that's really stood the test of time is gamemakers/icons, probably because it was more documentary style so they couldn't insert their stupid jokes.

I remember the one show where they had teams competing in online games. I was a big SOCOM II fan and they had a few episodes where people were playing it on TV. Thought that was always cool.
Always thought it would be cool if for that show instead of having them play games that they trained in (the popular ones like starcraft, counter strike, etc), they had them play obscure games that had online content that no one really played (for PS2 i can think of medal of honor rising sun, XIII, splinter cell pandora tomorrow.... all those games that were out there but weren't really associated with online play)
