4chan has ruined my life.
I starting browsing in '06, I was 12 years old, so I have basically been here throughout middle and high school.
It has made my jokes highly vulgar, I feel less confident, and I have felt pretty shit for my lacking social life. I sacrifice a healthy life for a website I pretty much feel peaked in 2011.
4chan doesn't change you, time does. The older you get the less acceptable it is to not have social skills, a repertoire of jokes, be attractive, have work experience, stacked confidence, etc.

No. If I had to blame one thing I'd say video games ruined my life- despite always being a good student and well-behaved kid, I never found any goals or aspirations because of them.
4chan has only fed that same hunger for entertainment/connection that I should gotten from real people and real activities 10+ years ago.

My life was already ruined.
This place just fills the void

you were likely raised in a culture that encouraged feminine traits and discouraged male traits, without the awareness or genetics to overcome the confusion. leaving you as a beta trying to accumulate good boy points. believing that somehow with enough good boy points you could get the life you'd always wanted.

The void stares back, anon. You cant fill it.

lack of social development.
I take it you missed out on a lot of key social milestones in high school and early 20's

How can nothingness stare back?

Not even him, but Professor Anon nails me once again.
