it's fairly edgy, but considering how abstract and minimalist the beginning is (the first 11 minutes are dialogue-free), the plot becomes so utterly well-realized as it goes on, with AMAZING characterization. It's just an example of how to structure a series. and if you're at all into cyberpunk I think it has one of the best takes on the genre.
