Where would you rate it in the MCU?
For me it might be the best film to date. Zemo was a great understated villain with a grounded motive, Cap and Iron Man had great culmination for their respective arcs.
Plus the final act was fucking ace, so personal, visceral and character driven. Also surprisingly dark for Disney.

I'm glad they dealt with Crossbones early on. He's not a villain I enjoy, and the MCU doesn't need a "random mercenary dude" character to get the shit kicked out of every few movies. Zemo was absolutely phenomenal. It's hard to write a truly sympathetic villain, but it worked.
Also, I braced for the worst when they announced the existence of another 5 Winter Soldiers, only for them to be killed off. For that, Zemo is the GOAT Marvel villain.

Or Tony going from careless playboy in IM1, to PTSD ridden after realising how insignificant his actions are in comparison to alien threats. Causing the events of AOU, which led to his guilt ridden determination to see the Avengers kept under check, a way to shift blame I think.

Plus it got a little dark at the end with attempted suicide, friends turning on each other and at least one of them fearing he would be killed.
