If you actually apply yourself, it's gonna suck until about the second semester of your sophomore year. By then, you know the law of the land and should have at least one friend group if you don't shut yourself in your room all day. Yeah I had a really abstract thought at the end of my junior year that I should just intentionally fail a required class my senior year so that I could still be in high school.
I was too afraid to go to college or the real world. I didn't even apply to college until the week deadline to apply was, and I applied to a state school 20 minutes away from where I lived so I could go home every weekend.

I didn't go either. Nobody ever asked me before or afterwards and by the end of high school I had depression and anxiety so I couldn't face it. I probably would've embarrassed myself anyway. Haven't seen anyone from there since, and that was 2 years ago. Still a friendless KV. Good times.
