Has anyone else here managed to completely leave society behind and go off on their own and live in some quiet, remote place? Would anyone here like to?

Oldfag here.
Only child, parents now dead, divorced, live alone.
Pros - live alone.
Cons - live alone.
Work it out OP...
I've always wanted to say fuck society and live in nature. I just don't know how hard it would be to pull that off. I mean aside from finding food and all that shit i wouldn't know how to do, winters would probably suck
not in a quiet, remote place but i've lived in solitude for about 5 years now and it fucked up my mental health
i'm so forgetful and dissociated now. my knowledge of social norms has gone out the window.
wouldn't recommend

yeah
Well I've escaped the 9 to 5, but for me it's impractical to live in too remote a location. So I'm just in a suburb of a beach community
I did for a year yeah, out in the Pacific.

I don't want to "completely" leave society behind.. Actually, I do. But I'd need to have farm land and a lot of supplies. Being able to buy stuff for hobbies is a big advantage. But I need money for the land and a gf to keep me company.
But I plan on living in wilderness anyway, just buying supplies from time to time and hopefully building myself a little place to live. It's too boring being a neet in parents house.
