Some better shows if you want robot feels are actually romances, tight knit buddy stories, just about anything that makes you lament not having a life. Uchouten Kazoku has a clearly depressed character and is very good.
There's a lot more manga related to isolation and loneliness than anime though.

I have an idea what you mean certainly. I'm sure for some people it might be a "thing" to dial themselves down in order to collect the highest "shitty life score" which calls for respect at times here. I'm not sure how much of a thing it has become or is on its way to become tho.

Anyone know any anime like Hyouka? I loved the relaxed and chill atmosphere of the show it radiated some mild Twin Peaks vibes but was really laid back and easy going.
Something really chill, maybe mystery or slice of life. Romance is not a requirement.
