Philosophy. I like reading about ethics, aesthetics and epistemology, find whatever interests you. Math because writing proofs is fun. Programming. Personal projects are a good time sink. Also contribute to projects you care about. Draw, look at art. That covers all of my respectable hobbies. You can do all of this from the comfort of your mother's basement.

The learning curve for building is steep,but you will be amazed at what can be achieved with prims,textures,scripts and ingenuity.
This pic was my last club. I made the textures, created gardens from Mandel bulbs, and sold animated painting in a shop. People danced to New Age music and meditated in the flowers.
