Some very intelligent people here. There where was college thread that indicated that the average SAT score if posters was 2000 +, with some very high scores. The original content rule promotes actual discussion and discourages shitposting. There are often hilarious memes and autism stories. I appreciate the anti-normie culture, as normies have pretty much the rest of the internet. And lastly the community can be quite supportive. I've had users really help me out on frogs and feels threads.

Not strictly due to the content, but more because of the dashed potential. It could have been really good, but instead just became /d/: western edition. I think it still should have had some level "weird" lewd stuff, but less than what it has now. And I'm not saying that because I'm prude or anything, I'm into some admittedly weird stuff, it's because I feel like /aco/ should have been "tasteful" I suppose, but it became a very obscene type of place where the catalog is filled with very niche stuff and there's maybe one or two threads at any given time of any interest. That said, I go there a lot.

I go on /mu/ every day and it's almost a part of my life at this point. As a board to utilize, it serves it's purpose, you'll likely branch out musically to some extent if you use it, and I have discovered so much great music with /mu/ as my starting point. Also, sharethreads are great. But the shitposting and memes are just so, so bad, it's unbearable. It's like every month a new meme sweeps the board and shits on all discussion. It also has some of the worst trips on this website, but /an/, my favorite board, has bugguy who is infinitely worse
