>tfw terrified of being tortured to death
Anyone else know this feel? Ever since I was young I've been terrified at some point I'll be kidnapped, bound, and completely at the mercy of some sadistic man with a knife, who will torture me, rape me, burn my testicles, mock me, cut pieces of me off slowly, it terrifies me.

This reality isn't so far fetched if you live in western europe
>>
It is a terrifying thought, but I don't let it debilitate me. Just don't live in a shithole country. If you do, don't associate yourself with people who have power

Done.
>>
>>28376427
Sounds like you need immersion therapy. Just give me your address OP, I'll hook you up. I'll stop by the butcher and get my knives sharpened and everything.
>>
>>28376465
I live in the US and have a shotgun so I don't think it will actually happen. But there is always the chance, there's a few refugees in my town and they are very violent people.
>>28376500
True, true.
>>28376503
P-please no, that terrifies me.
>>
Yeah, I don't do physical pain well it's scary that at some point I'll probably experience some sort of great pain.
>>
>>28376555
>P-please no, that terrifies me.
Pleasure and pain are intertwined and often indistinguishable.
>>
>>28376427
Conquer your fear take a civilian course called SERE if you complete it you have nothing to fear.
>>
>>28376613
Yeah, I've always planned once I get old and sick I'm going to blow my head off with a shotgun to feel the least pain possible, so long as I have closure with family/kids/whoever first.
>>28376631
Not for me, all my sexual fantasies are incredibly tame, loving, soft, and sweet. There is no pain whatsoever.
>>
Why would you care?
You're gonna be dead once it's over anyways. I'd be much more terrified of being tortured to almost dead and then be returned home, all traumatized and fucked up.
>>
>>28376427
I feel you I was scared of the ramsey swinging the sausage scene in GoT it was cruel and it hit right in the soul.
>>
I know that feel, I feel like they'll sodomize me with various objects and just fuck up my anus and internal organs.
>>
>>28376651
>all my sexual fantasies are incredibly tame
All your conscious fantasies. But what about the rest.
>>
>>28376652
Yes but you're not dead right away. Imagine days of a captor toying with you, slowly cutting you up, having you tied up naked, mocking your body, slowly cutting the sides and skin of your penis and testicles, gripping your balls and squeezing until they pop, shoving glass up your bumhole, cutting your skin all over and throwing salt, alcohol, whatever in the wounds. Getting a dog to bite your genitals or just nibble away at you while you suffer, putting a shock collar on you and shocking you, or using a cattle prod on your asshole, holding a lighter to your eyes and forcing you to eat cockroaches, spiders, flies, whatever. Death would be a sweet release.
>>
>>28376673
Exactly. They would have full agency to do whatever terrible things they want to all of your sensitive areas and you couldn't do anything. It is beyond terrifying.
>>28376683
I don't have any others. I don't want to get hurt.
>>
>>28376733
Op pain is only temporary though the body has a weird way of blocking out the memory's of being in pain.

>mfw doxing OP right now
>>
>>28376427
This makes me think of people who have succesfully resisted torture. A story i remember was about a Turkish revolutionary called Ibrahim Kaypakkaya was severely tortured for more than 3 months in interrogation by state forces but refused to say a single a word about his friends and their operations. How these people do it goes beyond, they must be the best mankind has to offer.

>>28376673

Was already done by the Saddam regime. They broke bottles in peoples assholes.
>>
>>28376733
>I don't want to get hurt.
You're a robot. You already know pain.
>>
>>28376757
Yeah the memories, but you have to live through it. There is nothing you can do, you are completely at the sadistic whims of your captor, you don't know how long they going to keep you alive torturing you, you have to worry about how your loved ones feel that you're missing, if you have dogs you know they're at home starving and sad because you're not there, thinking you abandoned them, all of this while getting brutally tortured for days on end, it's such an awful situation I cannot imagine it.
>>
>>28376767
Please don't, I haven't slept in a long time and you are scaring me. I don't want to have nightmares about that disgusting pepe face torturing my anus.
>>28376773
I don't know how they do it. I would be so terrified.
>>28376788
Not this kind of physical pain though.
>>
>>28376710
>>28376789
Jesus christ how horrifying
You have me scared now too OP
>>
>>28376427
well if you think of it as pain that passes its all gud i mean yesterday has already passed rite? so if anyone is going to torture you to death it will pass soon since time just keeps going and youre going to be killed eventually, if youre not going to be given food or water you will die within days so it really isnt anything it will pass time will move forward, you will die, there is nothing to be afraid of
>>
>>28376822
>You have me scared now too OP
He says, "I can't even imagine it." Then goes on to explain his torture porn in vivid detail.
>>
>>28376811
Im guessing most people here in that situation (torture in interrogation) would immediately spill the beans. I think i could resist torture up to a certain point, but once they step it up to horror movie tier im not sure what i would do tbqh.
>>
>>28376789
Sure it would be bad at first but eventually you would just get used to it. I think you are underestimating the body's responses to trauma. Pychlogical torture is far more effective the. Physical. As long as you live in a first world country you shouldn't really have any fear. People would know if you go missing and police would be all over that shit soon.
>>
>>28376789
Really the only solution is to never get captured. If you face capture by anyone but police, there are only two options, escape or fight until one of you dies.
>>
>>28376826
You can say that but just imagine the sensations, the incredible fear and pain, it's awful.
>>28376841
I guess I'm just trying to illustrate why it scares me. I read about all these serial killers, especially Dean Corll, and being one of their victims would be so terrible.
>>28376845
I would just shut down, tell them whatever, I don't think I could resist.

I have your timezone, I can make a very good estimate on when you'll go to sleep based on it and your posting time and past experiences.

I'll scout your area when you're asleep. Learn how you behave. What you do. Who you are. And when you and everyone surrounding you least expects it, that's when I'll make my move.

You can't shoot me while you're sleeping, and by the time you'll wake up you won't be able to do anything.

Pic related.
>>
>>28377039
Kek, that picture always makes me laugh, so I'm not too scared.

You don't know when I'll sleep though. My schedule is very bizarre, very off kilter. There's no way to get into my room without a lot of sound, either, and I have a shotgun next to my bed. I look forward to your visit.

I've seen so much that just adds to the fear. All these videos of drug dealers/criminals being tortured in Brazil or Mexico, and it's terrifying. They get tied up and roll around helplessly while people burn them, beat them, and stab them.
>>
>>28377219
It's always been one of my worst fears. They not only sadistically choke you, shock you, beat you, cut you, but then while you're catching your breath they slap your junk around and make fun of it, call you small, it would just add to the complete breaking they bring you.

yep

it's gotten to the point that whenever i see another person i automatically assume they are going to attack me or pull out a gun and shoot me in the head so i run away, i don't trust anybody, my intuition is convinced that i will be tortured at some point in my life and face unending pain, i'm not a strong person so i've considered killing myself before it happens

i'm afraid of being kept alive and being forced to feel unbearable amounts of pain, all of my dreams that i have now are vivid gore like being inside of a shock film, but i'm the one that is carrying out the torture and the murder in order to protect myself

what scares me the most is anything to do with the eyes, being conscious after being beheaded, being conscious after being cut in half, penis/testicle torture, getting stabbed in my earholes, getting something done to my throat or my neck, suffocation/drowning/buried alive anything to do with breath, insect torture, ah i don't know anymore

I have that paranoia as of late, too. I'm not racist, really, but when I am out at night and see black people I became very afraid because nearly every torture video I've seen is black/hispanic gang stuff, and I also know their crime rates are much higher in the first place. I am always on guard.

You have the same torture fears as me, the big one to me is penis/testicle torture though. It's so vulnerable.

Actual question- why is Brazil such a hell hole?
>>
Imagine yourself in this situation, OP.

>Sharer continued begging them to take her back home. Tackett turned on a boom box sitting on her lap that played opera and mimicked Sharer, acting like she was crying. Loveless ordered Sharer to slip off her bra, which she then handed over to Rippey, who slid off her own bra and replaced it with Sharer's while steering the car.
>Tackett led them to a garbage dump off a logging road in a densely forested area. Lawrence and Rippey were frightened and stayed in the car. Loveless and Tackett made Sharer strip naked; then, Loveless beat Sharer with her fists. Next, Loveless repeatedly slammed Sharer's face into her knee, which cut Sharer's mouth on her own braces. Loveless tried to slash Sharer's throat, but the knife was too dull. Rippey came out of the car to hold down Sharer. Loveless and Tackett took turns stabbing Sharer in the chest. They then strangled Sharer with a rope until she was unconscious, placed her in the trunk of the car, and told the other two girls that Sharer was dead.
>When they realized Sharer was screaming in the trunk, Tackett went out with a paring knife and stabbed her several more times, coming back a few minutes later covered with blood.
>Sharer continued to make crying and gurgling noises, so Tackett stopped the car. When they opened the trunk, Sharer sat up, covered in blood with her eyes rolled back in her head, but unable to speak. Tackett beat her with a tire iron until she was silent.
>Lawrence remained in the car while Tackett and Rippey wrapped Sharer, who was still alive, in a blanket, and carried her to a field by the gravel country road. Tackett made Rippey pour the gasoline on Sharer, and then they set her on fire. Loveless was not convinced Sharer was dead, so they returned a few minutes later to pour the rest of the gasoline on her.
>The girls went to a McDonald's restaurant where they laughed about Sharer's looking like one of the sausages they were eating.

Having your skin burned is terrible in general and the thought of having your whole body seared is the worst. I burned my foot on a hot blacktop and acted like a little bitch about it.
>>
>>28378162
As someone who used to cut pretty extensively because I was a retard, burning pain is definitely worse. I would rather someone flay me alive than have someone slowly trace my skin with a lighter. Burning pain seems to increase exponentially for every second the flame is exposed to your skin.

>>
>>28378076
Ay, read some Plutarch earlier.

The Persians had a fairly nasty torture method back in the day:

The intended victim was stripped naked and then firmly fastened within the interior space of two narrow rowing boats (or hollowed-out tree trunks) joined together one on top of the other with the head, hands and feet protruding. The condemned was forced to ingest milk and honey to the point of developing severe diarrhea, and more honey would be poured on him to attract insects, with special attention devoted to the eyes, ears, mouth, face, genitals, and anus. In some cases, the executioner would mix milk and honey and pour that mixture all over the victim. He would then be left to float on a stagnant pond or be exposed to the sun. The defenseless individual's feces accumulated within the container, attracting more insects which would eat and breed within the victim's exposed flesh, which--pursuant to interruption of the blood supply by burrowing insects--became increasingly gangrenous. The individual would lie naked, covered from head to toe in milk, honey, and his own feces. The feeding would be repeated each day in some cases to prolong the torture, so that fatal dehydration or starvation did not occur. Death, when it eventually occurred, was probably due to a combination of dehydration, starvation, and septic shock. Delirium would typically set in after a few days.
>>
>>28378324
Nah, those people typically have their head on straight. I don't see how wanting to protect yourself makes you more likely to torture someone to death, especially when refugees rape and murder at a far, far higher rate. Hell, in my town there have been multiple armed robberies in the last year, all committed by refugees. What you're saying has no basis in reality.

Good thing you live in a country that doesn't allow that. Oh wait...

>Not surprisingly, with beatings, rape, torture, and death facing them, few victims failed to "confess" and most gladly inked their name to any scrap of paper shown them. Some, like Anna, tried to resist. Such recalcitrance was almost always of short duration, however. Generally, after enduring blackened eyes, broken bones, electric shock to breasts - or, in the case of men, smashed testicles - only those who died during torture failed to sign confessions.

>Judge van Roden said: "All but two of the Germans in the 139 cases we investigated had been kicked in the testicles beyond repair. This was standard operating procedure with our American investigators." He told of one German who had had lighted matchsticks forced under his fingernails by the American investigators to extort a confession, and had appeared at his trial with his fingers still bandaged from the atrocity.

The Third Reich didn't believe that all people were equal, so it wasn't inconsistent for them to treat some groups badly.

This is why you educate yourself in the matters of dialectical materialism. To understand the matter and the principles of its change. To understand the underlying principles of exploitation and socioeconomical systems based on this exploitation.

To understand why there is imperialism and how imperialism is the main cause of war.

tl;dr: read commie literature and urge others to read it as well

Good books to read and understand are the Art of War by Sun Tzu and The Prince by Machiavelli. Just to see what is currently being used against the common people like you and me who have nothing.

Because it is such a shame for these poor people to be brutalized and not knowing why it happened. Everyone is opposed to such mistreatment, especially those at whom it is aimed. In order to stop this, they need to know what are the causes and why this happens. Only then they can seek improvement in various forms.

You can't stop human cruelty, especially not cruelty fueled and encouraged by state propaganda.

>every ally thought the same
>every German thought the same
There is some hypocrisy but you are simplifying things too much. Even if equal the Germans were guilty of murder or being an accomplice to it in the case of the women. Do you torture the murder and try to save innocents or do you leave him be and allow innocents to die? That isn't to say the Allies weren't murderers, but we were murdering the murderers.
>>
>>28378838
"Revolutionary" ideas like democracy and Communism have actually caused more suffering than authoritarian states that just acknowledge people are not and shouldn't be treated equally.
>>
>>28378881
Torturing people for a confession after the war is already over =/= preventing murder.
>>
>>28377843
you forgot probing into your nostrils. Sometimes I think about these things when I'm at the dentist, strapped to the chair. If they wanted to, they could push a little too hard with their tools, reaching the nerves underneath the enamel surface of a tooth.
>>
>>28378881
The tortures in question didn't actually directly save any lives.

>do you leave him be and allow innocents to die?
Yes, if it's in another country. You don't really believe that the Allies went to war against Germany on a purely humanitarian mission to save the poor Jews? It was really all about economics and keeping colonies and resources secure.

Is life about how well you deal with torture? That or at least the part that makes it the most scary, pain? Athletes are lauded for their abilities to perform, and in a sense, endure the pain of exercise. How does one find the strength to move beyond pain? Is it simple want? Stoicism? Absurd revolt?
What are your thoughts robots?

I haven't studied wwii but what colonies did the Allies have? Were the Germans not the aggressors?
You're not some /pol/ naziboo are you? Or are you just trying to make an argument against their torture?

Yes the capitalists are a formidable enemy of human progress. But since the very contradictions inherent to capitalist system encourage change towards a system on higher level of development, the improvement is only a matter of time. Just like the bourgeoisie overthrow the old feudal system.

>>28378895
World is full of suffering currently. What can be however said is that current system is invested in highlighting the revolutionary terror of the proletarian revolutions. Of course you cannot make an omelette without breaking eggs. Every revolution is a very dirty business.

All I was saying is to stop being fooled by idealist philosophies and metaphysics, and instead learn about materialist philosophy and dialectics.

The former is rigid and ignores change. The latter explains change as a property of matter.
For example see Zeno's paradox of the arrow. And this way of thinking is used to justify why communism will fail, because people cannot be changed.

The dialectic explains that people today came to existence through work from animals. That early people did some rudimentary work, like using stick and then from stick they put a sharp stone on the end of the stick and so on, then of course using fire to cook the animals they caught, and during this an elementary thoughts to facilitate this tool making had to be developed in the early brain.

And this development on the spiral of labor->thought->labor led to development of modern labor and human consciousness. The point is, humans were changing in that time. And there is no reason to not think that humans cannot change in the future in the regard of the outside reality around them.

Those who deny progress, who deny movement only want you to be locked in your place. Like Rosa Luxemburg said, only those who do not move do not notice their chains.

I think the fear of it all happening in the moment is worse than the pain.

Having to witness with your senses your body be slowly, brutally and carelessly made dysfunctional whilst knowing damn well that merciful pleas are futile. The body you spent the last few decades in; the one your friends and family knew; the one your parents created.

Not to undermine it at all, since it's all absolutely fucking awful, but I think the pain is actually secondary to all that.

Britain was a colonial empire you fag. So was france.

Open a book, moron.

And using torture against the prisoners after the war was over cant be morally justified, no matter how much you try.

t. Proud Naziboo and /pol/ poster :)
>>
>>28379385
Well yeah, but how did that interfere with Germany at all? Especially around 1939. If you drop a few facts about the situation we can continue the discussion. Also my bad for not reading the link, I thought it was during the war. What do you do with an enemy after a war though? You could kill him but an eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind. Just letting them go doesn't sit well with me either though.
>>
>>28379171
>I haven't studied wwii but what colonies did the allies have?
Japan's empire threatened US, British, and French colonies in the Pacific and South East Asia like the Philippines, Vietnam, Burma, Hong Kong, and Hawaii.

Italian expansion under Mussolini threatened British and French colonies and trade routes in northern Africa and the Indian Ocean.

The Third Reich defaulting on all its loans to American and British international banks threatened the US and British domination of the world's economy. The Third Reich actually viewed Islamic, Indian, and East Asian cultures (all colonized by Allies) positively.

>were the germans not the aggressors?
This question can't really be answered in any war. You could always say that the aggressor was acting preemptively. The Soviet Union definitely presented a threat to Germany, and had tried to start revolutions for the past few decades.
>>
>>28379385
LMAO everything is justified in a fucking WAR you retarded mouthbreather, nazies started a war that they could never win, it would be morally justified to destroy all of them since they did it twice
>>
>>28379423
If they cant be proven guilty of any crimes i'd say letting them go is the right thing to do.
>>
>>28379423
You read the article, right? You saw that they did horrible shit to teenage boys or girls, yes? Are you seriously justifying that? This is petty revenge against people who may or may not have had any choice in joining the party or fighting in the war. Don't pretend for a second its anything more.

This is what spooks me: theoretically immortality is possible; imagine being tortured until the end of time. And if immortality is attainable, it must also be possible to negate the damage done by torture, so you'd be just as conscious on the 1000000th day of it as you were on the first.
>>
>>28379515
Yeah probably this, what about negligence though, like those who knew about the holocaust and did nothing to stop it?

>>28379552
>no choice.
There is always a choice. If it's fight this war or I'll shoot you, you could wait til he gives you your gun then you shoot him.
I'm not concerned with the article but rather, what do you do with someone after war. What of the soldiers?

Nigga I'm not saying you should torture people, I just don't see why you would let someone that burned Jews go free without any action taking place. Im asking what the best course of action would be. Do you force him to watch what he did or roam among the corpses in some Clockwork Orange like "look what you fucking did" manner or something else?
>>

That's exactly the logic Islamic terrorists use when they kill American normies for their government's actions in Palestine/Iraq/etc.

There were no gas chambers or live cremations, and there was never a plan to instantly exterminate every single Jew.
