Anyone else know this feel? Ever since I was young I've been terrified at some point I'll be kidnapped, bound, and completely at the mercy of some sadistic man with a knife, who will torture me, rape me, burn my testicles, mock me, cut pieces of me off slowly, it terrifies me.
This reality isn't so far fetched if you live in western europe

This makes me think of people who have succesfully resisted torture. A story i remember was about a Turkish revolutionary called Ibrahim Kaypakkaya was severely tortured for more than 3 months in interrogation by state forces but refused to say a single a word about his friends and their operations.
