Kik isn't a dating website. You need to know someone's username to message them, there isn't like a list of profiles that you can look at like on a dating website.
There's literally no reason to get excited about a stranger texting you on kik. It's either a bot or someone who made a typo with the username. Or its one of your friend's friends, but in that case they'd say that right away or you'd already know them anyway.
