Either 1: Dont actually care about the way you look or present yourself; other than bare-basic social customs (like showering). Then just go interact with people at like a gay bar or something; where people are usually more social.
Or 2: Actually care about your physical appearance and do your best to conform to what society ostensibly thinks is 'attractive' or 'hot'. EG: Be a buff dude with a shitty face is infinitely better than an obese dude with a shitty face.
