What's the point of existing if free will doesn't exist and you and all of your actions have already been determined long ago by external forces?
.
All of your achievements and accomplishments in life are not yours - they are the result of a long cause and effect chain that began long before your were even born. So, when you get pleasure from achieving something, it's actually really quite pathetic and delusional.
You are of equal meaning to that of an ant. You are of equal free will to that of a computer. You are a poor, pathetic, helpless deterministic robot who is too ignorant, dumb and afraid to face the harsh reality of how ultimately, your aspirations in life are completely inane due to the underlying mechanism of determinism.

This is why people become degenerate

There is no point. Who said there was?
Cypher eating steak - ignorance is bliss. If it looks like steak, smells like steak, tastes like steak - I'd rather be the guy eating the steak than turbo-sperg Neo saying "but it's not reaaaall"

exactly - not only does there not need to be a reason to exist, it doesn't even matter if there is or if there isn't. We're already here. Just try to enjoy what you can, while you can.

Determinism is meaningless to every day life. It's impossible to know how or why events will inevitably unfold the way they do - making it mechanically the same as a non-deterministic reality in terms of daily life.

You made the same post on /sci/ last night.

Why is wojack distressed? If anything, he should be glad pepe is helping him cool off.
its weird because we do make our own decisions but those decisions are also predetermined
>All of your achievements and accomplishments in life are not yours
even if determinism is true, this isn't necessarily, because what "you" is is the internal mechanical drives that make you perform these accomplisments.

There is no point. All value is created and assigned. Everything will probably come to an end.
From my point of view the best we can do is to be able (as in there is the greatest possibility range despite it already being determined) to control to the greatest extent possible what it ends up being our lives.
Another fun thing to do is trying to outlive heat death via transhumanism. If we manage that, we just fucked reality in the ass thanks to the weirdest shit in this universe: intelligence.
