Most Americans don't really give a shit about Mexico or Mexicans in particular. Americans are tired of illegal immigrants regardless where they are from. In fact most of the illegals in my neck of the woods aren't Mexican but El Salvadorians and Hondurans. Regardless where they are from, the crime they committed was coming here to live illegally. That would not be a huge problem, except they commit more crimes than citizens, they devalue labor, and they have several children, most of whom wind up on welfare of some form and drag down our schools.
Mexico could be a great country but Mexicans have to make that change. I don't think most Mexicans are patriotic about their country the way Americans are. If they want Mexico to be great, they should stay in Mexico, build industries, wipe out the crime and corruption. Instead they are leaving Mexico to bleed, coming here to work (illegally,) and sending money back home so their relatives can eventually make the trip. It's a parasitic relationship, but also one in which neither country really benefits, because Mexico remains a crime-ridden, underdeveloped shit hole at the end of the day.

A Hillary presidency would just continue our decline at the current rate. She has no conviction or credibility, but she's got name recognition and the Democrat establishment machine behind her. There's no way to tell what she actually believes; her positions seem to be determined by what grants her the strategic advantage at that moment. She spent decades opposing gay marriage with the ol' "sacred between a man and a woman," and then she goes on Ellen and is suddenly a champion of LGBT rights. Hillary is the distilled essence of a career politician and the current system is lucrative for politicians on both sides of the aisle. So while the Right might oppose her publicly, they stand to gain just as much as the Left in her administration.
Trump would accelerate our demise greatly. He mostly has no real plans. He wants to get rid of Obamacare, for instance. What is he going to replace it with? Nothing. It will definitely be a terrific nothing, though. The biggest, greatest nothing on the face of this Earth. The only thing bearing any semblance of an actual proposal is his tax plan, which is literally impossible and only serves to illustrate the fact that Trump has no idea what he is doing. But that's ok, because we get to tell the IRS that, "I win." So long, and thanks for all the memes.
Of the three, only Sanders would take things in a positive direction. There's no way that his proposals would pass through congress as they are, but it's good that we'd have someone who has a natural desire to make healthcare and education affordable and available, to bring back the middle class, to rebuild our infrastructure, to overhaul the way we run our elections. If you look at his history he's been saying the same things for 30 years. You can go back and look at C-SPAN footage and see Sanders predict the housing bubble, the banking crisis, the destabilization from the wars in the Middle East, the Panama scandal.
If Sanders loses I'll just vote for Jill Stein again.

Well, at best Hillary would keep the status quo for four years (can't do anything radical to lose voters at the next election!) and maybe make some changes in the following term, whereas at best Trump would be so awful that he would prompt long term voting reform (hopefully instituting mixed-member representation, allowing third parties to gain support), ultimately being more progressive than Hillary ever could be.
