A fundamental part of the robot mind-set is that we instinctively don't believe we have any sort of worth towards the opposite sex. If a girl shows us affection, we are immediately distrusting and have no idea why she would approach us for sex as opposed to someone else. This tends to materialize in the belief that they are approaching us with affection, only to cruelly tear it away from us as a "prank"
