I'm truly sorry if your personal anecdotes involving tattoos were traumatic, but I ave to break it down to you: if someone's tattoo is dumb or regrettable, that's completely irrelevant to the case. In general terms, a tattoo is a permanent body modification no different then plastic surgery or braces or even hair implant. Modifications those that many robots would so fearlessly engage into if they had the chance to change their self perceived flaws. It's a bit of hipocrisy to condemn tattos if you support or would ever do it yourself, any procedure of body modification.
I've seen many amazing tattoos on amazing people. I myself would love to draw on my body, but unfortunately i never had any idea of a worthy drawing. My father was a tattoo enthusiast.
