I really do hate it. It's gotten to the point that I just don't communicate with anyone even online.
The fact that I've not succeeded at anything beyond sub par I feel is why I feel envious of them. It's a really shitty feeling knowing something you have tried to do your whole life some people can do with no trouble at all. Be it hobbies, academics, work or relationships.

Just yesterday I was informed that a friend of ours was looking for a house with his girl who he's getting serious with.
We used to play games with him all the time among other people. Now they've gotten jobs, had kids and moved on. We still play occasionally but it's basically done now.
It makes me very sad because we had so much fun in the past. Now? We barely get on and there's no fun to be found anymore.
I want to say, "that's life," but that doesn't help.
