Any other robots born in the wrong time?

I feel like I would have been much happier being born several centuries ago.

Eh we won't have all the tech from today, but at least life would have been slightly simpler, maybe we would die sooner as well, maybe traditional gf too, who knows

I always fantasize about being a Viking, Samurai, Roman Legionnaire or a Spartan and being a hero and dying like a g and every remembering my name.

Instead I'll die an old alcoholic wagecuck who didn't matter.

To me even being a filthy serf sounds like a pretty good deal.

Yah, also weapons ownership was pretty lax back then

living in the past would of sucked
harder to learn things and get educated, most people were wrong about most things and were real shits to people that disagreed with them

Yeah but education doesn't matter if you're living the simple, blissfully ignorant life

I've come to realise just the awesomeness and epic scale of what living in the past must have been like. The advent of 21st century technology has, I think, been a massive cultural downgrade from say, antiquity or the renaissance. Even the middle ages would have been a interesting and excitable time in history. It seems as though culture itself has become a bland a dry economical nothingness instead of the tradition and meaning once put into art, music, literature ect.

As someone likely Nordic (blond hair blue eyes meme, but dad's family were dirt farmers so no records), I fantasize about being a Viking all the time.

Seems like a pretty comfy life to me.

I feel similarly, but the main thing I think we've lost is that there's no more unknown.

Now the people who discover stuff are the scientists and theorists. Used to be you could pick a direction and explore new things.
