Adding to the reasons why that other people have listed, he's also an inspiration of sorts. He's one of the few truly free people out there. He legitimately has no concern for most of the things we constantly stress over, and lives a simple life doing something he enjoys doing. And not only does he do this, but he's managed to carve out a large following doing it. He's even made it on national television because of it. How far he's come since starting his channel gives his viewers hope that you really can make it in life if you just follow your passions.
