The site I use just opens one video after another. I don't have to click "next episode" or whatever. Think of it like a Spotify playlist, but with anime episodes.
With vlc or whatever, I have to open each new episode. That means getting up, taking my cat off my lap, opening file, going back, trying to find that comfy position again.

Use MPC-HC, there's an option to play next in folder, if you have multiple episodes downloaded you can watch them without having to get up. Actually a little frustrated here.
