The suffering on waiting for these games is real, ironic because i've been enjoying some Killing Floor 2 and the updates on that are slow as fuck. Still a good passtime but it doesn't have that charm like it did the first game.

My all time favorite vidyas are the first three Megaman X games and the Metroid Prime games. I wish I had grown up with those games though.

Osu! is a good game, but you need to invest into it a bit to really enjoy it. That's probably the only game that I play that is relatively modern.
If I were to list games that I like, I'd make a long list and forget a lot of them. I don't have favourites, there are just games that I like and games I don't like.

Won't be telling you to hack your 3ds but I did as a yuropoor and am currently playing the special edition. If you're low on money, get the nohr route. It's a bit of a challenge but a lot more satisfying and the story's pacing is less ADHD.

I've played the JP rom + NA translation. It's obviously not the best thing but atleast the features are there and only text is a bit retarded. If you have patience you could wait on the fan translation. I think the de-localization patch is still missing some features and items
The only thing that's not translated on my set-up is the petting scenes but you'll understand the jist of what they say if you've watched anime for a while.
