Jesus fuck what did I do to deserve this. I get them once every few weeks on average.
Nothing I've tried helps.
Breathing techniques, weed, alcohol, sleep. It still lasts for hours on end.

Weed can induce paranoia.
Alcohol can induce a stressful/paranoid state in some people.
Sleep can induce nightmares in the stressed, leading to panic and paranoia.

I used to get them every night more or less. Basically I started doing hard drugs way too young. I did LSD and meth at 14 and it fucked me up good for at least 4 years. Only now at 21 can I honestly say the effects have gone

Weed CAN be used as a way to suppress anxiety, but the way THC affects you is dependant on how you normally act. So if you are nervous all the time, weed will just make it worse. But, if you only have panic attacks once in a while, weed will help.
