There is a set total amount of points you are required to have as a male. You can gain the points from different fields and can compensate for some with others but you still have to reach that minimum to be accepted by society.
A 5'6" man will lose points for being a manlet but can make up for them with points coming from being attractive or coming from a wealth. Or he could have nothing going for him and miss out and be basically dead.
Its funny how normals act like this world is so great and fair when really it hasn't come all that far from the old days.
