Have any robots fully soundproofed their room? I'm looking for some insight on how to do this myself. I think I could convince my parents to get construction involved as well, if that's necessary.

Honestly anon, if you live with thin walls the best thing to do is move out. Even if you could soundproof your walls you would still be one door and one thin wall away from others

Well with the door, I could just get a heavy-duty soundproof door, right?
But as for the thin walls, even internal (making sure the walls are solid) AND external (like those acoustic pads) soundproofing wouldn't be enough? I am just starting to learn about soundproofing, but it does seem doubtful that I'll be able to stop the floor from vibrating from footsteps when on the top floor.
But what about my basement? Footstep vibrations wouldn't be a problem, but the footsteps will be louder, but it seems like soundproofing should be strong enough to block out footsteps if my room is grounded, right?

Dude egg cartons lmao

Egg cartons alone won't be enough to satisfy me and I've read some people say they don't work that well anyway.
But I still started saving them in case I want to try.
I will bump my thread once.
