you would not get it just from taking a trip there ffs there are people living in that area. but just get as deep in as you can and dig up a bunch of top soil and sleep in it. although it will take a long time to develop into cancer and there will probably be mass starvation by then anyway.

Cancer is your cells mutating due to environmental factors. Producing it on demand is pretty darn hard if not impossible. Your best bet would be to be getting your hands on some radium, because they used it a lot in products in the old days, but getting a significant amount would be hard as radioactive materials are on governmental watch lists. Injecting it directly in your blood would result in it accumulating into your bones. Even then it might take years to get a cancerous response, look at how long marie curie worked with radium with no protection. Upping the exposure would likely only kill you from radiation poisoning. The problem is that white blood cells will search out and destroy cancerous cells, so no matter which approach you take it's always a matter of luck whether or not the cancer will develop.
