Is 20 still considered young? I wanted my teenage years and never made friends or went out due to my anxieties and low self esteem because of my weight, I'm 19 now and have been making great progress losing this weight, I'll just turn 20 by the time it's gone, and I'll be starting college, I'm just wondering if 20 is considered old nowadays, did I waste the best years of my life?

Thanks for the replies, they're very reassuring. I'm just pissed at myself for not doing something earlier, I never realised how easy losing weigh actually is, I wasted all the first time getting drunk, parties and all that.

contrary to the popular social meme of high school then college then graduating at 22 and career from then on, all while maintaining normal relationships, the majority of people don't actually follow this path and many don't find their way until their 30 or even later.
you're 20. accounting for 0-16ish basically being out of your control, you've only lived ~4 years tops as an autonomous human being. you still have 60+ to go. you've lived less than 7% of your potential autonomous years and you think you may have seen the best of it? you are literally a child. your brain isn't even fully developed yet.
