I've been exactly where you are, man. You can remember every little smell and feel and intangible feeling. I could remember the feeling of my hand pressing against her waist through her hoodie while I hugged her for a FUCKING YEAR after she was sucking other penises, and every single time my heart would say to me "you will never have that shit again, you had it one time and you let it get away you stupid fuck"
I'm not going to tell you the pain isn't real. But I can tell you that it goes away. Your response to that will probably be to think "no, maybe yours did, but mine never will, mine is the real deal!" Yeah, that goes away too.
The one thing you need to know to get through it: You don't need to figure anything out. It doesn't go away because you have some huge realization and figure out how to make the pain stop. It is PURELY a matter of time. Even if you don't want it go away, it will go away. Literally all you have to do is wait it out.
Whether you like it or not, there is a finite number of days and minutes left until it stops - and every single minute you spend momentarily distracted by a movie or video game is a moment you stole from the pain. It doesn't push the pain forward, so you have to deal with it tomorrow because you didn't deal with it today. If you just distracted yourself nonstop until the timer runs out, it would still run out. So that's all you have to do.
Get your brain to realise that you don't have to figure out a solution. It WILL go away. Stop thinking of ways to get her back, stop thinking of whether other girls will be like her, stop thinking of anything remotely related to her, and just let it fade. That's all you have to do.
