>tfw can't put my contact lenses in
Are they a pain in the ass? I'd rather not wear glasses but I don't like the idea of sticking something on my eye.

If you're using torics and the astigmatism is fairly small, switch to spherics + glasses for the cylindric correction. Spherics are much easier to put in/remove (and cheaper, and more comfortable, and have a more stable image).

They dont hurt. They are just annoying.

>put my contact lenses in the wrong way
>>28282150
won't your vision be shit?
>>28282111
>contact lens dries out from not blinking and falls out
>you're not home to rewet it

It's the best of both worlds (assuming the astigmatism is small and roughly the same in each eye). Most of the correction is from the spheric contacts, with all the superior optical quality of contacts. The cylindric glasses give it the final touch for perfect (better than 20:20) vision with minimal distortion. Toric contacts are big and uncomfortable and wobble too much whenever you blink or move your eyes so the image quality is reduced.

WAIT! You can put the in "the wrong way"!?
Care to ellaborate?
How the hell do I put these shitty things IN???!!!!
I have "hard lenses" because my vision is shit and they're so difficult to put in. Taking them out is easy as fuck but I just don't get the mehod for insertion. I either blink like a bitch, it slips off my finger tip or it gets caught in my eyelash.

You can flip soft contact lenses inside out. If you do they'll have a slightly flared edge instead of the smooth bowl shape they're supposed to have. If you wear them inside out they will be uncomfortable and blurry.

Been wearing Biofinity for around four years now and I've never noticed this! I already mildly dislike changing them though but at the same time I'm sooo thankfull for not having to wear glasses.

use only one hand
use your pointer finger to pull the bottom eye lid down
rest the lense right in the very center of the tip of your middle finger
now bring your middle finger right to your pupil
keep your gaze fixed right on the center of the contact lense all the way until it touches your eye, and even then keep your gaze fixed right on where the center of it would be
then just lightly push it a little firmly on to your eye with the middle finger
the key is to not move your eye (pupil) around when doing it, or it will never work
because your pupil makes a little ridge in your eye, it juts out, so your like putting it on the cap of your eye
follow these instructions it will take a few tries

I forgot to mention
use your other hand's pointer finger to pull your other eye lid (your top eye lid) up
then your eyes will be completely pried open
like I said remember to keep your vision fixed on the center of the lens, don't look here or there

Also these instructions are for the right eye
use opposite hands for other eye
>keratoconus
>use huge hard scleral lenses
>mfw never had any issue
Feels good man
>mfw air bubble in the physiological serum
Shit
