>It's a "you're trapped in an illusion and there's a live audience laughing at your antics and misfortune" thought
Who's more fucked up, the idiot or those who laugh at him?
That's how I get my way out of that one.

Definitely the idiot.

Thisis very deep stuff and should be treated with respect

My more persistent worry is that this reality is a test for me, virtual reality, so tgey can recreate a scenario and see my motivations for it. Whether or not i killed someone in cold blood or if i was a victim of circumstance

I'll deal with that once the show's over.
But I'll probably die before I learn of it, so why bother thinking it over?

there's some cockroaches on your face, friend

I've been the clown all my life. I'd best put on a show if that's true.

Your need to outlive your audience and feel happy when they start dying, one after the other.

The only way I can understand this viewpoint is if the idiot had, in a more lucid state, at one point harmed the ones who are laughing at him. And even then, vengeance is far more petty than correction and forgiveness.
Otherwise you're just perpetuating misery for your own selfish gain. That's more fucked up than being a victim of circumstance, imo.
