Use an air purifier, a fan, or something else which produces white noise. I can barely sleep without something like that. I've been staying at my grandmothers house without my air machine thing (I don't even really know what it's supposed to do, and it probably doesn't function anymore, I'm just using it for the white noise), and I can barely fucking sleep. I wake up like 10 times in a night. I'm not exaggerating, I'm actually waking up roughly that much. And once the birds start singing at like 4, I can't fall back asleep until like 6 or 7.
>it's spring
>birds start screeching extra loud because mating season
I'm so glad I take a powerful sleep aid every night so I don't have to deal with my insomnia anymore

this desu
if I didn't have 300mg of trazodone every night I don't know how I'd even sleep at all.
sleeping pills are the best thing ever invented. they make sleep extra fucking comfy.

Yeah trazadone doesn't do it for me anymore. Now I take a class 2 antipsychotic, seroquel.
It almost guarantees an 8 hour rest. Super comfy

luckily for me trazodone still works - it doesn't knock me out anymore, but once I do get to sleep it guarantees that I only wake up twice at most during the night and can easily get back to sleep when I do wake up.
within a year I expect to have to move to something else like seroquel because I've built up an immunity to trazodone surprisingly fast. at least my Haldol knocks me out if I really need to sleep.
>Smother myself with a pillow so I don't hear the birds chirping or the cars going out for their morning commute to work
I just have a nighttime job.
