I feel for you. That's why it's better to move on from crushes. I crush really hard on a girl until I realize it's never going to happen. Then I get really depressed and lonely until I find a new girl to crush on.

I was already slowly losing touch with friends toward the end of college (only had 3 real friends; she went out of state, other friend joined the NAVY, and other friend changed too much from frat life). Eventually I just got depressed for being an ugly virgin with no life goals and stopped communicating with everyone and became a shut-in NEET for years, only recently trying to return to life.
