Being drunk doesn't make you retarded. If I have 5 or 6 drinks, I'm walking home, catching a ride, or getting a taxi. Pick up your car the next day.
If I have 2 or 3 drinks, it's probably still safe to drive. Legal limit is .08 BAC in my state and that's about 4 drinks. BAC drops by about .02 per hour.
Any rate, do the math and keep it sensible.
Drunk driving is awesome. Some people just forget to hit the brakes.
