>you will never be a child prodigy, making huge positive impact on the world before even leaving high school

He's ugIy tho
>you will never get a chance to redo your childhood
>>28262623
you can't know that
i'm only 26, there's still time
He also wrote an influential interpretation of Infinite Jest
>>28262640
hardly

Actually he is, its probably because of his mountain dew and white bread diet
Child prodigies hardly ever work out. Either they stagnate and just become above average adults or they burn out and become failures.
tru
might as well kys
Somewhat related, but did anyone else end up as a "gifted child"?
>did a piss easy test in the 3rd grade
>determined I was gifted apparently
>class difficulty went from 0-100
>parents wouldn't let me quit, super hard on my grades
>incredible anxiety, bullied by the nerdy asian kids
>stopped giving a shit because even if I tried I failed
>bad high school marks
>depressed
I want to go back in time and fail that fucking test
>>28262914
forgot to mention I didn't go to college either. fuck my life.
>>28262804
DFW was also a prodigy.
I was considered one, tested and all that shit. Anxiety and depressiom wrecked me, I'm 24, still in college with about three years left and will never fulfill my dreams. The worst part is KNOWING I am smarter than almost everybody else at my school and my anxiety isn't even of the social kind so I can speak a million times bettet than the auper autists and most normies yet I have done absolutely nothing with my life since I left high school while everybody moves ahead.

>read his Wikipedia article
GET FUCKING PISSED
$1,000,000 dollars?
>>28263288
Maybe you shouldn't break da law
>>28263075
SHIT, dude, I'm in the same situation. If I could go back in time, I would've ensured that I never let my true nature show; the pressures of being that genius kid who'd change the world are most likely what led to my ruin.
>>28262914
I did.
I just got transferred to new school full of other gifted students and made friends for the first time in my life.
Did you get moved up a grade or something? And where are you from?
>>28263440
I deem this a spooky post
>>28262914
I wasn't a genius but they made me enter school directly in the 2nd grade which probably fucked my life a lot. I had difficulties socializing and always was immature and then stopped trying in midschool.

The government killed this guy.
People don't even value or comprehend the nature of how good the things he was doing were.
In short, most old knowledge is locked away by private institutions who monopolize it - that's our history, as written in the day. Journals, blueprints etc. He wanted to get it and make it free for everyone.
Some really shady men were ordered to destroy his life and likely murdered him too.
>>28262623
Too bad he killed himself like a little bitch.
>>28262953
No he wasnt. Have you read his biography? In high school he was just a pretty good tennis player, a well above average but not amazing student who some teacher thought were really smart, and a nervous wreck who sweated all the time
The Unabomber was a prodigy too, just saying.

what is this lit
Watch The Royal Tenenbaums.
Child prodigies, like child actors, inevitably turn out fucked up.
