You know a pet peeve that really got me.
He grew up in a village in Sussex, and he never really talked about childhood holidays and days out and such. I always wondered whether he ever went out on day trips to Brighton. I knew it was likely because Brighton is quite close by to his village, but I hated the fact I would never know for sure.
