being a neet used to be so fun, no matter how isolated i was i could always play fun multiplayer games like WoW, CSS, Gmod, TF2, Minecraft, Quake, even Eu3 and Eu4 and pal around with people, make friends, and have a lot of fun playing those games
nowadays everyone takes shit so seriously, even in fucking shit like TF2 and minecraft. everyone is a fucking tryhard and nobody can just have fun anymore.
despite this even griefing seems dead now, youtube used to be dominated by people trolling Jailbreak, Minecraft Servers, DarkRP, but it all just vanished
thinking about how much i had griefing and playing legit back in the day, it was always a vicious cycle too. play legit for 2 hours and get trashed then grief for hours.
now you cant even grief in games. grief in csgo? banned. grief in dota? banned.
no sense of community anymore really either in any games, or maybe thats just because of how mainstream they are

Yes, just find a server you want to play on and then tell everyone you're new to the game. Most people will teach you a few things but they'll often run off when their help is required to keep the station going.

I only play singleplayer games honestly, it's much less of a hassle and the games are better designed. Multiplayer games are a fucking treadmill, they need to keep you hooked because most are free/cheap these days. Look up the term skinner box.

Reduce the amount of people possible to play with to generally 1, or at maximum 4 in total
Pickup some fighting games, something that can give you some drive
If you don't like fighting games then you're really just fucked
find some fun single player games, if you can't do that either just find something else to do
Games these days are CATERED towards normalfags, not realising this is just being delusional.
Take WoW for example, it lost 6m subs in one expansion, and they're still going to make garrisons in the next expansion

just add whoever you liked playing with, I used to do that back when WoW was good, you can still do it in most games, just now you'll need to make a bit of an effort to become friendly, rather then before you could just talk about your crazy dungeon expierience, and you would get along straight after.

I used to play these really terrible nation sim browser games called bloc and worlds at war.
