So, I had a friend in high school that was quite religious until he met up with us. Then he became a cultist... but uh... yeah.
I suspect him of being a chronic liar, but some of the things that he said must have been true. Maybe.
He told me that the church girls felt comfortable with him, so he was kind of "in." He was pretty fat and acned up.
But, if you can develop a good reputation in the church, you can probably land yourself a girl. Social status and approval of her peers are often factors that women use to evaluate men on.
