Beauty standards do not change over time, they remain constant. Lithe, thin, healthy women have since the dawn of man been the ideal physical traits of all women. As it was in 500BC as it is today. The issue with making explanations like this is that it does not allow you to predict anything. The reason why germ theory was important was because it led to techniques to improve sanitation. What do your explanations allow us to predict about behavior or trends in social interaction?
Even if your explanations sound like they make sense (and they do), that's not enough for it to be meaningful. It made "sense" to put the earth at the center of the universe until observations in celestial motion proved otherwise.
If you coupled your "reasons" with some sort of consequence or conclusion I would have reflected on them further. Otherwise it's just pointless arguing over reasons that can't be objectively compared.
